“BESS helped me to envision a bright future.” – BESS Valedictorian.

On June 17th, 2014, Interval House hosted its 4th Annual BESS Graduation Ceremony. The ceremony was a wonderful opportunity to honour all of the women who graduated from our Building Economic Self Sufficiency (BESS) program in the last year.

Graduates were eager to connect with one another and share their stories of success. Old friends connected and new bonds were formed as women gathered to share in each other’s triumphs.

New jobs and a renewed sense of confidence are just some of the achievements women were celebrating together. Some graduates were even honoured with an award for all of their hard work!

The event also gave community members, donors, and stakeholders an opportunity to see the impact of their support.

The BESS Graduation Ceremony is a truly unique and special event. And we already can’t wait for next year’s ceremony!

Our BESS program provides women with the tools to rebuild, reinvent and transform their lives by providing access to education, training, financial assistance, and other practical solutions. To learn more about BESS, click here.
