You have helped Interval House rebuild the lives of thousands of women and children since we opened our doors in 1973.

Today, we are preparing to rebuild our shelter that rebuilds lives.

Interval House has received funding to renovate and expand the centre to enhance our critical, responsive and holistic services to help women and children escaping abuse.

We are energized about our renovation, and over the coming months you’ll see 4 vital changes at Interval House.

	Transforming Community Programs Relocate to the lower level, creating:
	4 Community Programs offices, a counselling room and meeting space
	More space for B.E.S.S. (Building Economic Self-Sufficiency) including an Education Room and B.E.S.S. Resource Centre with a computer lab for job and housing searches
	Career and Household Boutiques – dedicated, organized space for donated items to help women find work clothing or household items for their new home
	Brightening our Children’s Program Moves from the lower level to the main floor where moms and kids will have easy access in both day and evening, and includes:
	A bright and cheerful Children’s Program space, a free play area with a variety of educational and fun toys, and an art therapy area
	A spacious, quiet counselling and homework area
	Enhanced Counsellor Advocate Office
	Additional space for staff meetings
	Counselling office with improved storage capacity and privacy for overnight shifts
	Private counselling space
	Efficient Administration Administration moves to the top floor and contains:
	A board room with a moveable wall to allow for multiple meetings with donors, volunteers and other community stakeholders
	Office space for programs and administration
	Multi-use volunteer office and space
